A special issue on the broad topic of E-marketing will seek to publish the best papers that address the research themes outlined below. The development of theories for e-marketing is critical if we are to truly understand the use and effectiveness of the World Wide Web. Therefore, the purpose of this special issue is to provide a forum for scholars seeking to develop new theories and to apply existing theories to e-marketing. We welcome a range of research methods and approaches including theoretical papers and all forms of empirical studies, e.g. statistical surveys, case studies, design science and online methodologies.
